The National Committee for Ethics in Research - CONEP is a committee of the National Health Council - CNS, under the Ministry of Health, which aims to automate and provide greater security to the registration and monitoring of research in Brazil.
It enables the expansion of communication between the various bodies of the CEP / CONEP and greater transparency of the systems actions to the Brazilian and international society.CONEP aims to provide for standards and guidelines related to ethics in research with humans and is also responsible for managing the network of Research Ethics Committees - CEP.
